The team at Biglilkids (BLK) Entertainment worked with three of the finalists from the Strive Community Trust NeXt Factor - Rise Above Bullying performance series which was held in Māngere Town Centre earlier this year.
Young artists Sefa Mikaele , Shonbanet Tiatia and group I.T.S (Irah Tuimasere, Teejay Nanai and Soape Tanfalele), worked with mentors from BLK around performance advice, the building of artist skills, vocal exercises, songwriting, direction in artistry & artist goals and general confidence building.
Each finalist was given the opportunity to go through a photo shoot for photos to use for their artist profile and cover of their single at the end of the project. Artists were also supported to record and release their own single on the BLK Soundcloud channel.
