The Māngere East Community Centre organises and coordinates local festivals and events with the community (including Māngere East Festival in November, the Cultural Festival in April and Matariki celebration in June), to showcase and celebrate local cultures and talents.
The centre is also a learning hub where you can attend a range of FREE community classes including Ukulele, Cook Island dance, Arts and Craft, Sewing, Korowai, Salsa dance and much more. The centre organisers are always looking for opportunities to promote community participation in arts, craft and learning activities. More Info
