In preparation for the annual Siva Afi Festival held in March 2025 at Māngere Arts Centre, a number of local dance and music troupes are holding intensive training and workshop sessions for their performers and musicians, to ensure they are competing to their best abilities and representing the local community. Sessions will also be held on event production, management and marketing as the Festival grows in its role of providing a locally beneficial platform for skills development.
Guest Artists and professional tutors are invited along as mentorship and providing industry-based insights to the teams.
