Enchanted Garden

Enchanted Garden

Enchanted Garden is a free, family-focused inclusive event which is based around Inflorescence by Comet Collab: an immersive light-based installation of 500 unique flowers hand crafted from used plastic bottles, creating surprise and delight for local communities while emphasising the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.

Held in Naomi and Bill Kirk Park in Māngere Bridge Village, the event incorporates food trucks, activities for kids (face painting, scavenger hunt) and live performance to accompany the art installation, encouraging people to spend time together and share this unique experience.

Enchanted garden is one night only, Sat 4 May running from 3pm - 9pm, and aims to bring something unexpected and joyful to the community. We're looking for local performance artists to complement live performances by hand pan duo, Alive Metal, who provide a 'soundtrack' for the Enchanted Garden.
