There is a new exciting online party on the block! The Online Silent Disco Party with Lissy & Rudi's Crochet Whānau
The Papaya Stories Online Silent Disco HOME Edition is a FREE 30min virtual interactive show, a good mix of great tunes, dancing, fun and games that keep you moving & grooving inside your whare, having a good time in your bubble and boosting your levels of feel good vibes!
There will be 2 online party sessions available and spaces are limited, so sign-up - quick!
Saturday 16 May, 7.20pm - 7.50pm & 8.00pm - 8.30pm
Yana Kirakovskaya from Papaya Stories will be your host (think of Ellen). She will be talking with special guests: Frida, Sugar Skull, Tekoteko and Horacio - all crochet creations by Lissy & Rudi Cole of Lissy Cole Designs
During the show, Lissy will be making a joyful crochet item in real time and space. How exciting is that? What's more exciting is that it could be YOURS! Following the event it will be hidden in the Māngere - Ōtāhuhu area and you’ll receive clues to find it.
DRESS UP in colours. If you have any handmade or crochet, knitted pieces - put them on! All crazy ideas are welcome. Plug in yourself and dance like no one is watching, invite your flatmates or the whole whānau to join this dancing jam or just observe this joyful madness with your earplugs in.
HOW TO JOIN IN:
1. Sign-up via the Google Form to secure your FREE place https://forms.gle/rQM5NiK1vD3xM7aDA
2. You'll receive a confirmation email / phone call from the Papaya Stories team with further instructions
3. Download ZOOM and register it under your email address
5. On the day of the event - check your email box between 1pm-3pm to receive a link to the ZOOM meeting that you would need to attend on TIME and to receive an audio file link that you would need to play during the event from your phone.
5. Bring your pair of headphones, phone and laptop
This exclusive event is supported and funded by the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board via Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Please note that the priority spaces will be given to Māngere - Ōtāhuhu residents to sign up first. Once enough locals signed up for the event, we will release the rest of the tickets to our wider awesome community.
