do you have news or an event you’d like to share or promote?

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts website Noticeboard and E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.
You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like.

You can submit your notice at anytime and it will be published within 1 -2 days. Simply fill in the notice submission form here: http://bit.ly/35cb03s Or email mangereotahuhuarts@gmail.com with your notice: title, jpeg image and text.

Request for Expressions of Interest: Mātātuhi Foundation 2020 Literary Funding Grants

The Mātātuhi Foundation wants to help increase NZ writers' reach and engagement with NZ readers by supporting innovative projects with seed funding of up to $5,000

Our next funding round closes on 31 May 2020.

Submit your expression of interest online at www.matatuhifoundation.co.nz

The Foundation will seed fund projects that:

  • Relate to New Zealand literature (fiction, non-fiction, poetry)

  • Demonstrate innovation

  • Deliver broad community benefit outcomes

  • Use innovative and cost-effective platforms including digital

  • Are new or business expansion projects rather than business-as-usual projects

  • Represent well-considered, robust propositions with identified, achievable and measurable deliverables

The Foundation will generally NOT fund: 

  • Business-as-usual activities or costs such as ongoing operational or staff overheads

  • Ancillary project costs including catering expenses or international travel

  • Projects that can access full funding elsewhere

  • The writing or publishing of individual titles unless there is deemed to be a significant community benefit

  • The Foundation will only consider Expressions of Interest submitted via the online EOI form on or before 31 May 2020

  • The online form is available here.  All submissions must be accompanied by a project budget and any other appropriate supporting documents.
