Share, Seek + Promote


do you have news or an event you’d like to share or promote?

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts website Noticeboard and E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.
You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like.

You can submit your notice at anytime and it will be published within 1 -2 days. Simply fill in the notice submission form here: http://bit.ly/35cb03s Or email mangereotahuhuarts@gmail.com with your notice: title, jpeg image and text.

Funding available for your Neighbours Day events!

Kia ora whānau!

The Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board has set aside $2,000 seed funding for community groups and residents to run Neighbours Day events in March 2019.

There's just one pot of money and we are asking you all to apply by sharing a quick video or post on this page. Get us all excited about what you want to do!! Applications close 13th January 2019!

The funding available ranges from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $200 and will come in the form of supermarket vouchers.


How to take part?

Post on the Facebook page and tell how you would like to celebrate Neighbours Day in your community or on your street.


Try and include the following information and anything else that we may need to help us understand your event:

What will you do?

Who will you invite?

How many people do you think will come?

How much seed funding do you want to apply for? $50, $100, $150 or $200?

Any other information you may like to share.

Neighbours Day is being celebrated from 22 - 31 March 2019, so please plan your events to fit these dates.

Conditions: Events must be held in the local board area
Funding must be spent on the event
We need a quick report video and or photos with a blurb of the event as its happening.

Applications close at 10pm on Sunday 13 January. We will announce the results by Tuesday 22 January.
