do you have news or an event you’d like to share or promote?

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts website Noticeboard and E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.
You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like.

You can submit your notice at anytime and it will be published within 1 -2 days. Simply fill in the notice submission form here: http://bit.ly/35cb03s Or email mangereotahuhuarts@gmail.com with your notice: title, jpeg image and text.

EXHIBITION: The Suffrage of COVEN

As part of the 125th anniversary of NZ's Suffrage Movement, COVEN collective disrupt the exclusion of brown and queer voices from our country's feminist narratives.

THE SUFFRAGE OF COVEN is a multi-media exhibition and public programme series that brings light to the nuances of COVEN's gender-fluid sisterhood. Through performance, photography, film, object, installation and social experimentation we invite you to take part in the COVEN way of life.

SCHEDULE THESE IMPORTANT DATES IN NOW:
Saturday 13th October, 10:30am: Exhibition opening with guest speakers and full COVEN Collective performance
Saturday 20th October, 1pm-3pm: Beginners Vogue Class
Wednesday 31st October, 7pm-10pm: Halloween Vogue Night and Pop-Up Shop 
Saturday 10th November, 1pm-3pm): Advanced Vogue Class & Runway Demonstration
Saturday 17th November, 5pm: Exhibition closes
